Environment

Our commitment to protecting and enhancing the environment is central to the way we work. We have various initiatives to manage our impacts on environmental issues ranging from climate change to biodiversity and use of resources.

Our positive outcomes for 2020

  • Enable low-carbon economies. Our services will help Carillion‘s customers work towards carbon neutrality, so together we become the lowest carbon producers in our respective sectors.
  • Protect the environment. We will work with our customers and suppliers to be best in class in reducing waste, managing use of water and raw materials, and protecting biodiversity wherever we operate.

Highlights

  • Participated in WWF’s Earth Hour for the first time
  • 35% reduction in absolute carbon emissions in the UK business against a 2006 baseline
